To begin, log into Dayforce Flex Work as an administrator.
1. Add the Position under "Positions"
Notes:
Only 1 Tier is required (Solid). To remove Epic and Outstanding select the green trashcan to remove those tiers.
Typeform ID can remain blank or be defaulted to 1111. There is no impact if left blank but a warning will be displayed until the default value is displayed. The typeform id if left blank will not impact functionality.
If you do not use multiple tiers sure to leave only tier Solid. Solid tier is required.
2. Assign the Position to a Sector
Navigate to the Settings > Sectors
Add the new position to the relevant sector.
If there are multiple sectors you will want to review the sector associated to the unit and/or sub-unit to determine the appropriate sector to add position to.
Sectors allow for distinct positions per location
3. Add the Position to a District
Go to Settings > Districts in your admin.
To add Positions to Districts:
In the Positions section click edit.
Add the position.
Set the rates for the position.
Go back to the main page of the district, click the three dots at the end of the position row and activate the "Start Booking" toggle under Bookable Status.
4. Update the Agency Contract
In the left-hand navigation pane go to Agencies > Active > Select the Agency that needs to be updated > upper-right-hand corner > Update the Contract
Apply changes immediately checkbox has been defaulted to on (checked). If you do not want the Contract and Bill/Pay Hourly Rate or Mark-ups to take effect immediately unselected and enter the future date that you wish the changes to take effect.
Review or select the States for the units or locations that need to be updated or added
Review or select the Operating Districts that need to be updated or added and then select Configure Pricing
Review the positions per district and here are the configuration options:
Enable or Disable per position (Right-hand side toggle button)
Position Mark-up Rate
Bill and Pay Rate (per hour)
Solid, Outstanding & Epic Tiers if previously configured
